Helping people and saving food – ‘The Tafel’ food banks

Every day, tons of food are destroyed that are still perfectly to eat.

The aim of more than 950 ‘The Tafel’ food banks across Germany is to save this food and to support people in need.

‘The Tafel’ food banks are based on a large proportion of volunteer work, but they also rely on donations of course.

We think this is a great social responsibility initiative!
