FastGene Restriction Enzymes − Important molecular biology tools

Restriction enzymes (or restriction endonucleases) are proteins that cut double-stranded DNA at or near specific recognition sites. Since their discovery in the 1970s, they are used as important tools for cloning experiments. You cannot think about molecular biology without them.

Our Enzyme Finder (link) makes it very easy to find most suitable enzymes by name, sequence or overhang.

96% of the 115 FastGene® Restriction Enzymes are compatible with our FastCut buffer with 100% activity. Buffer compatibility can be checked with the FastGene® Restriction Enzyme Chart (download).

CUSTOMER REPORTS:

" It was cut without any problems. The instructions were also very easy to understand. It was good that web order was possible at low price. I think that searching with restriction enzyme finder is very convenient."
Customer, Fakulty of Pharmaceutical Science, Yamaguchi Tokyo University of Science, Sanyo Onoda City, Japan

" It could be used in the laboratory with products from other companies. In addition, the response time is short. Even double digests with products from other companies (enzymes that are quite incompatible) were easily cut in 15 minutes. There was little difference between 15 minutes and 1 hour. Buffer alone is probably worth buying."
Mr. Moomin, Department of Medicine, Department of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Kanazawa University, Japan

"The high-speed protol cuts well! I am grateful that FastCut Buffer can be used with almost all restriction enzymes, as cloning often involves double digestion.”
Mr. Iku, Tokushima University, Japan
